In January 2020, director Xiaorii again brings together his members and crew to complete the film that was abandoned ten years in advance. However, the team is suddenly turned on at the beginning of Covid-19. Faced with pandemic challenges, Xiaorui and his crew are forced to determine how to move forward in the fast -changing world. From the recognized director Lou Ye (Suzhou River, Summer Castle), an unfinished film is “a completely unique and very important movie about Covida, a crisis that affected us all” (The Guardian). By combining fantasy and documentary footage together, Lou Ye both mention the virus lost and create “one of the most thoughtful, true and tactical portrayal of the pandemic ever demonstrated.” (Wrapping).
